Rising U17G Pride Tryout Information
WAGS Division 2, Spring 2008

The Rising U16 Pride is a WAGS division 2 team and 2006 State Cup Quarterfinalist. The objective of the PRIDE is to provide a challenging and fun environment where dedicated players will learn to play soccer at a high skill level. The team trains year round, and participates in 2-3 competitive tournaments per season. The team is coached by Tom Torres, a USSF "A" license and VYSA state ODP coach. Tom is also the head coach of Westfield HS (2005 AAA Boy’s State Finalist). If you are interested in playing on the best fields in Northern Virginia and joining a fun, competitive and family friendly organization please contact the Pride’s manager, Jeanne Meyer or Tom Torres.


Arlington Impact '91 Tryout Information
WAGS, Spring 2008

The Arlington Impact ’91, currently a U16 team playing U17G WAGS Division 5, is looking for players for the Fall 2008 Season.  We are known to be a very friendly and committed team.  Coached by Walid Amer, we play 1-2 tournaments a year, in addition to our regular game season.  If interested in joining the Impact ’91, please contact Coach Amer   or Team Manager, Kathleen Murray

Rising U16G Blitz Tryout Information
WAGS Division 1, Spring 2008

The Arlington Blitz U15G D1 WAGS team is looking for one or more impact players for the Fall season.  The Blitz is coached by Grant Smith, Director of Coaching for ATSC.  Coach Smith holds his USSF National “A” License and has been a VYSA ODP State and District Head Coach for both boys and girls for the past 6 years.  The Blitz is a competitive team looking for committed players.  The team goal is to improve as a team with players committed to development and reaching the highest levels of youth soccer.  If that sounds like an environment you are interested in, please contact Coach Smith at doc@atsc-va.org.

Rising U16G Express tryout information
WAGS Division 4, Spring 2008
The Rising U16G Express are looking for a few committed players for the fall season.  The Express will be coached by Ann Cernicek beginning in the Fall 2008.  Ann holds her USSF National "A" License and is currently the Women's Head Coach at Washington-Lee HS in Arlington VA.   For more information about the team, please contact Ann at lamcdonalds@msn.com.   
Rising U16G Fury Tryout Information
ODSL Division 2, Spring 2008
 
The  U-15G Fury, playing in ODSL Division 2, is actively seeking dedicated field players born on or after August 1, 1992.  Our coach, David Kaplan, has experience as a WAGS coach, as a high school coach, and as an assistant coach for two women’s college teams.  He emphasizes skill development, teamwork, responsibility, and enjoyment of the game.

Rising U15G Intensity Red Tryout Information
WAGS Division 3, Spring 2008
The U14 Intensity Red (A.I.R.) has been playing together for 4 years and sets WAGS Division 1 as its goal. AIR has recently welcomed 2004 VYSA Coach of the Year, former US Women’s National Team member, and VA State ODP coach Gayle Smith to the coaching staff. We are seeking skilled, competitive players who challenge themselves to get better through hard work and competition against the best teams in VA, MD, & DC. A.I.R. is focused on developing strong technical skills, a composed team-style of play, and good sportsmanship. Our training and fitness sessions are hard work, but FUN. Individual skill sessions and clinics available! Rising U14G Explosion White Tryout Information

The U12 Explosion White have played together since Fall, 2003 and are very excited to have Grant Smith, ATSC’s Director of Coaching, as their coach. Explosion White will be holding tryouts to add players to its already dedicated and talented roster. Explosion White is looking for motivated players who want a positive learning environment with an emphasis on skills/tactical development. While the Explosion White players are excellent soccer players, they compete at the highest levels of many other sports as well. The team stresses teamwork, dedication, and the best in soccer skills. The U13 Explosion Blue will hold tryouts for all positions for the Fall 2008. We are looking for dedicated, motivated players interested in playing soccer in a challenging environment. We emphasize skill development, cohesiveness and sportsmanship. Our goal is to develop a competitive team while having fun. Explosion has a year round program including 2 practices a week in season, regular summer and winter practice, and winter indoor soccer. We participate in 3 tournaments a year. The Explosion Blue coach, Tunji Akiwowo, holds a USSF National B license and has almost 30 years coaching experience.
