Arlington Challenge coach Yuri Bogdanov holds a USSF National "C" license and a National Youth License.  He has coached with Arlington Travel Soccer since February, 1999, taking the rising U14B Ambush to Division 1 at U12. 

 

Yuri grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia and played soccer on St. Petersburg and regional youth teams.  He traveled throughout Europe to play in prestige youth tournaments. In June, 2003, Coach Bogdanov took the Ambush to St. Petersburg to play in the White Nights of St. Petersburg tournament and celebrate the city's 300th Anniversary.

 

Yuri came to the United States in 1995. He began his coaching career with youth teams in Russia and coached in this country for DC Stoddert before joining Arlington Travel Soccer.
