On a crisp autumn morning, Eagles Blue travelled to Gaithersburg, MD to face the Seneca Soccer Association (SSA) Alliance Premier. The result was a 5-2 victory, in a game that was closer that than the final score indicated.

After early domination by SSA, Eagles Blue struck first at 5 minutes when Mateo took a pass from Vittorio and drove one past the goalie.

After SSA tied the game at 1-1 at 18 minutes, Mateo struck again after a pass from Marty at 28 minutes. The half ended 2-1, Eagles Blue.

In the 36th minute, David was taken down hard in the box, and Nicholas drove home the PK.

At 42 minutes, another takedown, that should have been called a PK, led to a beautiful Ethan free kick that curved inside the near post from just outside the left side of the box. SSA struck back at 44 minutes to make it 4-2, Eagles Blue.

A hand ball inside the box led to the last goal of the day, a PK by Mateo.
